Associate – Colbie K. Taylor

Colbie K. Taylor is an Associate of Schell & Oglesby, LLC. Colbie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Political Science and obtained her Juris Doctor Degree from Belmont University College of Law in 2020. Colbie was an Associate Editor on Belmont’s Criminal Law Journal and Mock Trial Captain throughout her time at Belmont University. 

Before joining Schell & Oglesby, LLC, Colbie interned for the judges of the 21st Judicial District Circuit Court which includes Williamson, Hickman, Perry and Lewis Counties. Colbie currently practices in the areas of commercial litigation and family law including divorce, post-divorce, custody disputes, conservatorships and guardianships. Colbie also practices in estate planning in the area of special needs.  

Colbie is active in her community, as she sits on the Young Professionals Board for GiGi’s Playhouse, a Down Syndrome Achievement Center. Colbie is also a member of the Williamson Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association.
